Universal Power Line Wireless Transmitter and Receiver

The SecurView™ SV-1200.PLW is a wireless video signal transmitter that converts a hardwired video signal from a reverse camera and converts it to a wireless signal that goes through the power lines of the vehicle to a wireless receiver module up front with the monitor. This makes it so that the installer does not have to run a conventional RCA video cable from the camera to the monitor.
If you have ever installed a camera on a bigger truck, bus or motor home, then you know how much work it is. With the SecurView™ SV-1200.PLW, your work will be cut in half. The SV-1200.PLW is a wireless signal generator that converts a hardwired RCA video connection into a wireless signal. The system includes a transmitter and receiver end to complete the signal and is compatible with both 12V and 24V vehicles.

For the installation, the transmitter is connected to the reverse camera, and the receiver is connected to the monitor. The trick is that both the transmitter and the receiver must be connected to the same power source at the front of the vehicle and at the rear of the vehicle. This way, the wireless signal can travel through the circuit and establish a good wireless connection. This is also how it achieves such a crystal clear image, because it doesn’t transmit a frequency through the air. It is going from the transmitter to the receiver using the vehicle’s own electrical circuits as a highway. You will be able to get a clear image without having to run any RCA video cables and the wireless signal will work at a distance up to 200ft. With the SV-1200.PLW, you will be able to put in a full camera system in half the time.
