May 7, 2015 – iDatalink Maestro New Products Announcements

1. HRN-RR-CH3 – New Dodge Ram:  Wanted to let you know that we began shipping the CH3 (HRN-RR-CH3) harnesses today.  We anticipate the software and announcement for this solution going out on Friday.  You will be receiving these harnesses soon if you have them on order. 

‘Plug & Play’ installation harness for select Chrysler, Dodge and Jeep vehicles with 52-pin radio plug. Greatly simplifies the installation of the Maestro RR module.

Our launch coverage is 2012-2015 RAM pickups with any radio (including the 8 inch).  Please make sure to communicate to your staff and customers that in these trucks you MUST use an iDataLink compatible radio with this solution.  There will be no AS (analog) solution for RAM trucks because we need to display car settings in the radio and we can only do this with compatible radios.

KIT-F150 –  We have received a ton of inquiries and requests to pre-order the K150, our new dash kit for the 2013-2014 F150 with 4.3 inch factory radio.  

Dash kit for 2013-2014 Ford F150 Pickups with the 4.3 inch “My Ford” radio. K150 includes the necessary installation harness and features factory-styled climate controls and factory grade fit & finish. It also adds a convenient storage pocket with flush mounted ports to connect to the aftermarket radio. The Maestro RR is required and sold separately.

We will receive our first shipment sometime in the third week of May.  

The dash kit comes with everything you need to do the installation except the MRR module. An MRR module is REQUIRED to be used with this kit as it is necessary to control the HVAC buttons.     http://maestro.idatalink.com/accessories/category/product_id/404

The K150 and MRR will be extremely cost competitive but much better looking and more capable than the other solutions in the market.

This kit is universal, meaning it can be used in conjunction with an MRR and ANY 2-DIN radio.   The only feature that is lost when using a non-iDatalink radio is the ability to retain Sync.   Sync retention, as well as the cool screens for gauges, vehicle information, and parking assist, requires a compatible radio.
